Result Review & Multi-Tier Approval Workflow
Understanding the formal 4-stage governance: Draft → Submitted → Approved → Published.
- All student scores recorded by subject teacher.
Stage 1: Draft (Teacher)
The subject teacher enters scores. Only the teacher can view and modify marks at this stage.
Stage 2: Submitted for Review (Teacher → Vice Principal)
When score entry is complete, the teacher clicks "Submit Results". The state changes to "Submitted", locking the sheet from further teacher edits.
Stage 3: Approved (Vice Principal / Academic Committee)
School leadership inspects the compiled broadsheet for statistical anomalies. If satisfied, the Vice Principal approves the sheet. If errors exist, it is returned to the teacher for correction.
Stage 4: Published (Principal / School Owner)
The Principal officially publishes the approved results. Once published, report cards become available to parents, students, and the online result checker.
- Strict role guards prevent teachers from approving their own results or publishing report cards directly.
