Recording Continuous Assessments & Exam Marks
How teachers enter CA1, CA2, project scores, and final examination marks.
- Active academic session and term.
- Class and subject assignment.
Step 1: Open Results Entry Sheet
In the Teacher or Admin Portal, click "Results" and choose the target Class (e.g. JSS 1A) and Subject (e.g. English Language).
Step 2: Enter Student Scores
Type the scores for each student into the respective columns: First Assessment (e.g. out of 20), Second Assessment (e.g. out of 20), and Final Examination (e.g. out of 60).
Step 3: Real-Time Total & Grade Calculation
The system automatically tallies the Total (out of 100) and computes the letter grade (A, B, C, D, E, F) and performance remark in real time.
Step 4: Save as Draft
Click "Save Draft". Scores are preserved securely in the cloud, allowing teachers to return and make corrections before final submission.
- The platform prevents scores exceeding the set maximum (for example, entering 65 for an exam out of 60 triggers an immediate validation alert).
